  • Origin

The Mujeres de Hichozal blend is a mix of lots from a number of female producers who are part of the Aruco group. The blend was made to highlight the role of women in the coffee supply chain. The goal of this was to give a very cost effective, but high quality coffee at scale, which allows us to buy more coffee from these producers. The blend was made from a mix of coffee from 6 female producers.

Once selected and picked the ripe cherry is delivered to the Aruco wet mill, where it was macerated overnight and pulped and dry fermented for slightly longer than usual.

This slightly extended fermentation gives the coffee great sweetness and a fruity, red berry character.

  • Fresh roast every week

Our ANDY blend is an easy to brew, low margin of error coffee. Staying true to our light roast we source coffees that naturally offer those chocolaty, nutty flavours you all crave. This blend offers a perfect balance between body and elegance. Perfect for your milky drinks or black.

  • Recipe

We offer you these guidelines so that you have a guide when preparing your recipe, but you must take into account the method you are using, the grinding, the water, the temperature, etc.

    Our method: V60
    Our grinder: EK43
    Our water: Osmotized, 93ppm

We use 15 gr of medium ground coffee and 260 gr of water at a temperature of 96ºC. We pour the water in 2 times. One of 50 gr, we wait 30 seconds and then pour the rest of the water until it reaches 260 grams. The total infusion time should be between 2 and a half and 3 minutes.
