Nestled in the rolling hills of Mococa, northern São Paulo, Fazenda Pinheiro is a family-run coffee farm built on hard work and continuous improvement. After purchasing the farm in 2003, Maria Silva and Marco A. Guardabaxo planted 9.5 hectares of coffee in 2007, transforming the property into a modern, quality-focused operation. Sitting between 800 and 900 meters above sea level, the farm grows ten coffee varieties using drip irrigation to ensure consistent cherry development. Younger trees are harvested by hand, while mature trees are mechanically picked in a two-stage process for efficiency. After harvest, the coffee is dried on 2,160 square meters of terraces for 10 to 15 days before being finished in mechanical dryers to achieve optimal moisture. Since 2021, the farm has expanded with exotic coffee varieties and agroforestry, including avocado trees. Supported by a dedicated team of resident families and seasonal workers, Fazenda Pinheiro is driven by craftsmanship, innovation, and a commitment to producing outstanding coffee.
